In the fall of 2015, two Lincoln County Nevada Deputies and best friends, Mike & Tyrel, helped a friend process an elk. He was so happy with the results he told a friend, who told a friend, who told a friend. The next thing we knew we had a lot of friends and relatives who needed their animals processed. From there, Two Pigs Custom Meats was born.
We processed meat for friends and relatives in borrowed shops and garages, using borrowed walk-ins and equipment. In 2018 we built a small shop in Alamo and continued to grow way beyond our expectations. We are now licensed with the Nevada Department of Agriculture and serve as many clients as we can while we still work as full-time law enforcement officers.
We have two employees and are looking to eventually open a larger USDA inspected facility right here in Alamo, Nevada, that would service the region.
